So, I have been doing art my whole life and really havent made a dime on anything....mainly because I choose not to be a "professional artist" (always doubted my art too)...Yet, I have incorporated "creativity" into my life, my work and my self discovery. (I am an Art Therapist, actually) What makes an artist stand out??? Is it skill? creativity? Or both? Sometimes, I feel like I am in the "zone" and the work is effortless. When this happens.....there it is...it just works. That, I beleive comes from a Higher place...Creativity is from a higher source and artist ability, skill and talent are just, well something you have to practice... Any

Not sure how this whole DA works yet, but between this and ATCsforall.com, I am really loving my new found creativity. It almost makes other aspects of my life a "chore" (well, most of it is!) I find myself thinking of how to quit my day job to do more art for profit, but I know it seems impossible, atleast for now. Seeing others work is so inspiring and helps spark some ideas in me. Love your gallery, love your style! :)
Thank you so much!
Well hello there! Welcome to DA =) I dont normally browse the "newest" section of the site since there's a lot of garbage up there.. but here I've stumbled on a treasure! There is alot of promise in your watercolors my dear and I do hope you will continue to pursue your newfound creativity.

Don't worry about trying to find a single medium to work with, I myself use 4 or 5, its just more fun that way. If you try and limit yourself in your tools of expression, you might as well throw yourself in a jail cell. Do whatever feels right on the moment an idea hits. I think you will find a lot of success down the road
